Sawnet -Who's Who - Ming Kipa
Ming Kipa is the youngest person ever to have climbed to the summit of Chomolungma, also called Mt. Everest. She reached the summit on 24 May, 2003, when she was 15. Her sister,Lhakpa Sherpa was part of the expedition, as was her 24-year-old brother, Mingma Gyalu Sherpa. Nepal bans climbers under 16 from attempting Everest, but Ming Kipa Sherpa summitted from the Tibetan side.
