Syeda Abida Hussain

Syeda Abida Hussain has at various times been Pakistan's Minister for Education, Science & Technology (1996), Minister for Food and Agriculture (1997), the Minister for Population Welfare (Aug 99), the Minister for Environment and Urban Affairs (1999). In April 99 she resigned as minister following allegations of power theft. She is a distinguised advisor at the Transnational Crisis Project, an organization for security analysis.
