The Monkey Who left his Heart at Home
& other fables
by
(Ages 4 - 8)
Review by Raj Ganesan
This was a "blah" book. There's nothing specifically wrong with this book,
but nothing that really stands out either. The pages are not numbered, there
is no index. The illustrations are adequate.
CBT has a Panchatantra series, Amar Chitra Katha has several comics, and
Karadi Tales has audio tales of most of these stories. So there's no reason
to go out and buy this book.
Raj Ganesan lives in the Bay Area and loves telling
children stories.
Book Description: Contains 5 popular animal stories from the Panchatantra. This book has the
following stories:
1. The Singing Donkey
2. The Monkey Who Left His Heart At Home (AKA the monkey and the
crocodile)
3. The Crow's Revenge (AKA The Crow and The Serpent)
4. The Nosy Monkey
5. The Insistent Tailor Bird
