- Baby Hindustani has produced a series of videos to introduce young children (ages 1-5) to Hindi, Tamil, Gujarati, and Telegu. The videos feature a cast of Indian kids and introduce the language through everyday objects, colors and numbers.
- HindiKids has DVDs for children ages 2-12 to learn Hindi. The shows are entertaining and educational filled with songs,games,rhymes, and stories for both parents and children.

of India has many, many charming books, in 18 Indian languages.
They are approximately Rs 10 each. Not sure if you can get them outside
India, though.

from India and is a collaboration with the National
Book Trust.

Asia for Kids has lots of books
about the Far East, but also about India, Tibet, Bangladesh, Burma, and
Nepal. And a section called 'Growing Up in America'.

The PaperTigers web site
offers reviews, interviews, articles by readers, children's book authors
and illustrators, and information on Asian and Pacific Rim books, including
books about and from South Asia and the SA diaspora.

U.S.-based Highlights for Children
magazine now has an India issue. As a result the magazine now includes
more content related to India and to the subcontinent in general.
India issue information is not online as yet, but stay tuned. So
far the Highlights Foundation has awarded scholarships to two children's
writers from India to attend the workshop on Writing for Children held
annually in Chautauqua, NY.
