Bombay-born essayist and fiction writer Ginu Kamani authored Junglee
Girl, a collection of stories exploring
sexuality, sensuality and power. She has published
fiction and essays in various anthologies, literary
journals,
newspapers and magazines. Her essays and talks deal
with gender and sexual self-knowledge in the context
of the
dual identities of hyphenated American
subcultures. She is Writer in Residence at Mills
College, Oakland.
